General Meetings:

Meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the last Monday of the month, except as noted.
When held in Trail, the meetings will be in the Trail Seniors' Centre.
February (Annual Banquet) venue will be announced at the January meeting.
When held in Castlegar or Nelson, meetings will be in the Selkirk College.
June is the annual picnic. Venues vary.
No meetings July, August, or December.
Read your newsletter and attend the meetings! We have the presentation and refreshments before a short business meeting.
Bring your own cup and liquid refreshments.

New CBC Audubon Website URL

http://www.christmasbirdcount.org is the new christmas bird count URL at Audubon.
It is a little buggy as of beginning of January 2012 but should be corrected around middle of month.

Friday, 24 Febuary 2012 Annual Dinner, General Meeting & Presentation

Dinner will be served at 6 P.M. sharp. Tickets cost $18 and must be paid for by Feb. 16th. Tickets will not be available at the door! Tickets will be available from Pat Thomson or Jane Nicholson.
Meeting at 7 P.M.
Location: Trail, Seniors' Centre
Presentation at 8 P.M.
Speaker: Brent Hancock
Topic: 'The Fiery Kingdom of Northumberland'
Brent will provide a review of the history of Northumberland and Durham through pictures and slides of monuments that can be seen at the present time.The location is the border between Scotland and England covering the time period from Pre-history to the present day. Castles and Cathedrals of the area will be highlighted.
